FYI – plug doesn’t fit UK sockets

Haven’t had a chance to set it up yet, but noticed the charger included is a European 2-pin plug, which doesn’t work directly in the UK.

Not a big deal — I can use one of my own plugs — just thought it might help if future shipments to the UK/Ireland included compatible plugs or a note in the box :+1:

Thanks for the heads-up! :folded_hands: We’ll make sure to keep this in mind for future shipments and gradually improve compatibility for UK and Ireland orders.

Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention, and for sharing such considerate feedback! We truly appreciate you taking the time to let us know about this, especially before even setting up your system — that’s very helpful for us and for future users in your region.

You are absolutely right. Currently, the included power adapter features a European two-pin plug (Type C). We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Your suggestion is excellent and very valuable.

What we’ll do with your feedback:

  1. We will immediately share your suggestion with our packaging and logistics teams to evaluate the feasibility of including UK-compatible plugs (Type G) or a clear, printed note for future shipments to the UK and Ireland.

  2. In the meantime, we will add a prominent note about plug compatibility in the product description on our website and retailer pages for UK/Ireland customers.

For now, your solution is perfect: using one of your own standard UK plug adapters or a compatible USB power source (5V/1A) is completely safe and will work seamlessly with your RainPoint device.

We are genuinely grateful for your constructive and friendly input. It’s feedback like yours that helps us improve the experience for every gardener. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions during setup or use — we’re here to help!

Thank you again for your understanding and for being part of the RainPoint community.

You have put forward a good suggestion.
I spent a little time wandering around in this community.
