Just got the RAINPOINT Large Display Waterer – here’s my honest first impression 🌱

I recently picked up the RAINPOINT Large Display Automatic Plant Waterer, and I have to say — the setup was way easier than I expected.

What caught my attention:

Large, backlit display – honestly, I’m tired of squinting at tiny screens. This one is super clear and easy to read.

Cycle & Soak mode – I’ve been trying to water my plants more deeply instead of just surface watering, so this mode seems perfect.

Supports 10–15 plants – I have a mix of indoor plants and a small grow tent setup, so this fits my space really well.

Simple setup – no tools, no plumbing. Just plug and go.

I haven’t taken it on a vacation yet, but I’m already feeling more confident about leaving town without worrying about my plants.

Curious if anyone else here has tried this one — or any other smart watering system? What’s your biggest challenge with keeping watering consistent?

Would love to hear your experiences!

This looks great! How long did the setup actually take you? And did you have to adjust the tubing length or did it work out of the box? I’ve been looking for something that doesn’t require a PhD in plumbing :joy:

I’ve been using the RAINPOINT system for about a month now. The Cycle & Soak mode is honestly the reason I bought it. My tomato plants in the grow tent have never looked better. Just make sure you test the first cycle — I had one drip stake that wasn’t getting water, but it was an easy fix.
