Rain delay criterion

Hi, I’ve setup a rain delay smart scene on my HTV245FRF/HWG023 system and I’m not sure if its going to work or not. I have some questions about how this process works.

Options -

Rain probability: >90%

  • Does it go by the percentage indicated on the forecast for the day? Is the forecast for the day updated as the weather pattern changes? Will the smart scene re-evaluate based on new information to determine if its going to skip a day?

Type of weather: Heavy Rain, Storms

  • how does it determine if there is going to be heavy rain or a storm? I don’t see this information indicated anywhere.
  • What is the definition of heavy rain or storm? I don’t see anywhere an indication of how much rain is expected today.

Hello,

The weather forecast is updated hourly, and smart scenes are triggered based on this hourly weather data.

When the forecast indicates specific conditions (such as heavy rain or storms), the app pushes this information to the gateway to evaluate the scene. The gateway then sends a command to the irrigation timer to delay watering or turn the timer off.

Thank you for your support.
