South Balcony Drip System – Finally Set Up!

Just finished setting up drip irrigation for my south balcony pots! Using 4L/h drippers with 1-to-4 splitters. All the small containers on the shelving unit are now connected.

One tiny problem: the tubing forces my window to stay open with two gaps. Need to figure out a way to reduce it to just one — maybe a different connector setup or daisy-chaining them better. Any suggestions?

The best part? Drip system is so effortless. One tap on the phone and it waters everything.

Also started some summer veggies and seedlings — they’re currently hanging out on the north side and seem happy. Fingers crossed for a decent harvest this year!

Anyone else dealing with window gap struggles when setting up balcony irrigation? Would love to hear your solutions!

Nice setup! I have a similar drip system for my balcony and the window gap struggle is real  What worked for me was using a flat tubing for the section that goes through the window — creates a much smaller gap. Or you can try those soft silicone tubes that flatten easily. Good luck with the veggies! :seedling:

That setup looks clean! Window gap thing is annoying but honestly worth it for the convenience. Phone watering is a game changer.
