What a lovely winter surprise! :rose::snowflake:
Your brave little rose blooming in the cold truly shows nature’s magic—and your daily “bud checks” remind us all why we love gardening.

Though we’re not rose experts, it looks like a hardy shrub or landscape rose—many are bred to bloom late and handle cooler weather.

Quick care tips for your cold-weather champ:

  • Cover the bud overnight if frost is forecast

  • Keep the soil lightly moist to support blooming

  • Light pruning after flowering can encourage next year’s growth
