Just had to share some joy from the winter garden! While everything else seems to be sleeping, a few hardy champions are putting on a show.
The rape flowers are starting to bloom with these cheerful little yellow sparks, the Malabar spinach leaves are dark green and lush, and the “Dwarf Yellow” greens are forming perfect, compact rosettes. It’s a proper mini-harvest!
It’s amazing what you can grow through the cold with the right choices. These reliable, frost-tolerant veggies are truly the unsung heroes of the winter season. So rewarding to still have fresh, vibrant greens and blooms to pick.
Is anyone else growing these or other cold-hardy “all-stars” this winter? Would love to see what’s thriving in your patch! ![]()
