HCS048B Smart Flow Meter?

Hey @Ruddy - since the HTV210B I purchased doesn’t have water flow information, I was thinking of adding a water flow meter to my system so I can monitor water usage on the drip irrigation leg of my HTV210B. I see walmart sells the HCS008FRF, but it looks kinda clunky. The HCS048B is also listed as a (water flow?) sensor in the Rainpoint Home app. Is that a newer smart flow meter? Is it available anywhere? Because I can’t seem to find a place to buy it, including your website.

You’re absolutely right – the HCS048B is our 2026 new smart water flow meter , currently in the final testing phase. We’re really excited that you noticed it in the RainPoint Home app!

It’s not yet available for purchase, but it will be launching around August 2026 . Stay tuned for our new product launch event – we’ll have some special offers for early community members like you.

  • Your RainPoint account email
  • Which irrigation system / timer you’re currently using (e.g., HTV210B)
  • Whether you’re gardening on a lawn, raised bed, or greenhouse
