I was noticing the Rainpoint water leak detectors. Would be nice to have a way to use a plan to shut off the water with a inline on-off valve if leak is detected while away or home. Smart plug also to shut off power. I have a Tankless under-sink R.O system(with U.V Sterilizer) and that would be helpful with the water and the electric lines under the sink.

Our recommended solution for your needs is as follows:
You can achieve automatic valve shut-off upon detecting a leak by combining a leak detector and a smart timer in a smart scene set up in the app.
Specific steps are as follows:
-Place the leak sensor (HSS016ARF) under the sink.
-Install a timer on the water supply line of your water purification system to control the valve’s opening and closing.
-In the RainPoint app, create a smart scene:
Condition (If): The leak detector detected a leak.
Action (Then): The smart timer closes the valve.
Currently, RainPoint does not offer smart sockets or switches that can be directly controlled by the same system. Therefore, it is not possible to link them to control the power shut-off.

Thanks for the reply. I would have to add adapters at both ends as under the sink it is not 3/4, but it’s doable. Although if I was going to go that size I think I would just add a water leak detector that shuts off the whole house as that would cover every area that I could have a water leak. Under the sink I use 1/2 inch at the water outlet or 1/4,3/8 quick connects for the R.O. system. I was able to find a leak detector connected to a on-off valve that have those sizes for under the sink R.O. systems once I started looking for it and the durabilty to scroll multiple pages on Amazon.
Everything I have purchased from Rainpoint has worked fine for my needs. I have two timers, rain gauge, moisture meter for the strawberries. Temp gauge on the way. It rained yesterday and the rain gauge did it’s job. No complaints.
