When I activate the sprinkler through Alexa, I tell Alexa to turn the sprinkler on.
It seems like after 7 or 8 minutes it then turns itself off. However, I can’t understand why this is happening when Alexa is also able to turn the sprinkler off herself. Is there a way to control this or do I just need to tell Alexa to turn it back on in 10 minutes to get a 20 minute soak.

When using Alexa voice control, the command “turn on the valve” will start watering based on the default manual watering duration set in the RainPoint app.
That’s why the valve automatically turns off after a few minutes.
You can adjust this runtime directly in the app by changing the manual watering duration, and Alexa will follow that updated setting next time.
